There is no wonder as to why Disney is called the Magic Kingdom and that is because when you spend time there, it is magical. It is a place where dreams come true for both young children and parents as well. It is a place where you can be transported into a world of fantasy and beauty that helps us all leave our troubles behind even if just for a day. And it is a place that every child wants to visit and will never forget in their lifetime. (photo courtesy: travel.latimes.com)

We all know that there are many moments in life that are worth celebrating and one of the most important in a child’s life is a birthday. And now you can make your children’s dream come through by celebrating their birthday at the Magic Kingdom. With world class entertainment, the greatest theme parks in the world and awesome attractions, your loved one will have an unforgettable experience.

This is not only for children but adults birthdays too. What you need to do is, and this does not have to be done on the exact date of birth, go to City Hall which is located in Town Square the minute you arrive at Disneyland. You or your child will receive a special Birthday Sticker or button that tells everyone at Disneyland that you are to receive special treatment because you are celebrating your birthday.

To take advantage of that special Birthday Sticker, be sure to eat in one of the full service restaurants and let them know that you want to order the Birthday Bucket. This is a huge bucket full of all sorts of Disney treats and it includes a birthday cake. The last time I checked the cost for the Birthday Bucket was about twenty dollars and it will be worth every cent of it just to see your child’s delight with all the goodies. If you eat breakfast at Goofy’s Kitchen, you can get a Birthday Bag for about five dollars.

The fun continues all day long and you and your child will receive special treatment from all the Disney characters at all theme parks. The thing to remember is to not be shy about telling everyone who works at Disney that it is your birthday just in case they don’t notice the special birthday sticker. So go ahead and plan that Florida travel vacation and while you are at it, invite your friends and family members to celebrate that very special day, your birthday.

For many people, planning a Florida Disneyland Vacation is part of the fun of the vacation itself! For others, however, it can be a headache. Before you start planning your vacation, determine whether or not you are really up to planning the trip yourself or not. If you don’t want to plan your own trip, you have several options. Of course, you can have a travel agent make all of the arrangements for you, but for the best Disneyland experience, you might be better off using the Disney Vacation Planning Services. Either way, you can have every single aspect of your trip planned for you. (photo courtesy: Orlando Sentinel)

Once you get there, all you will need to do is follow your Itinerary. If you prefer the fun involved in planning your Florida Disneyland vacation yourself, there are some things that you absolutely must not leave out of the planning stage. Before you can decide what you will be doing at Disneyland, you must determine which dates you will be there. The parks offer different things at different times of the year, with many different themes and
entertainment to choose from.

Once you know when you will be at Florida’s Disneyland, the next step is to figure out what you will be doing each day that you are there. Once you’ve set up your travel arrangements and your hotel reservations, there are a few more things you must consider. Food is one thing you might want to arrange in advance. Florida’s Disneyland is a very popular place, and having reservations at some of the more popular restaurants is recommended. These reservations can be made well in advance – before you ever leave home.

When planning which attractions you want to visit, use a map of Disneyland as a guide. This will make it easier to schedule time for attractions that are near each other. You want to see and do as much as possible, and take advantage of everything Florida’s Disneyland has to offer. Keep your budget in mind. Often, by making arrangements through travel agents or through the Disneyland Vacation Planning Services, you will be able to get better deals – which can save you money. Look for these deals, and save as much money as you can on your hotel and food.

If you have small children with you, keep their priorities in mind – they have less interest in where they will sleep and the food that they will eat, and more interest in what they will see and do. So go ahead and start planning that Florida Disneyland vacation and make the children’s dreams and yours come true!

If you are planning a Florida travel vacation to Disney World in Florida, there are some ways that you can save some money. A family vacation to Disney World can be expensive and it starts with airfare and lodging for the whole family. You then have to set some money aside for admission tickets, meals and snacks, strollers for young children and souvenirs. If you do some planning prior to your vacation, you can save some money without having to sacrifice that dream vacation to Disney World. To help you with your vacation planning, here are some money saving tips. (photo courtesy: Walt Disney World)

Airfare
Like everything else, you have to shop around for the cheapest airfares available especially if you have a large family. Check out Orbitz online as they charge no booking fees and offer price assurance on your purchase. Also check out cheapoair for guaranteed low prices. Although both of these companies offer reasonably priced lodging and family travel deals, also check the hotels combined website for some great lodging packages.

Food and Snacks
Food and snacks expenses can add up quickly. But, did you know that are allowed to bring coolers to the theme parks at Disney? Yes, you can and this can save you a ton of money. Alcohol and glass containers are not allowed but you can bring water, sodas and juice boxes for the children. If you bring a couple of coolers to the theme park, you can also bring lunch for the whole family. Keep in mind that there is a baggage check at the theme parks so just be patient. Imagine saving all that money and not having to wait in long lines to buy some food. If you drink a lot of water, don’t throw away the empty bottles. You can refill water bottles at various fountains and most restaurants will give you some free ice.

Children Strollers
If you have young children that need strollers, try and bring your own to the theme parks. You can rent strollers at the theme parks, but you can same money by bringing your own. Try and keep the children in the stroller while walking around but if you don’t want to walk around with the stroller all day, there are central locations where you can park it. The main thing to keep in mind is that you can save money by bringing your own strollers for young children.

Buying Souvenirs
This is a tough one to deal with because most people want to bring home souvenirs from that dream vacation they just had but it can be expensive. Let’s face it, every little girl loves the Disney princesses and want those outfits. But when will they wear them and how long will these last before they outgrow them? An idea here is to buy your daughters a princess outfit before the trip and let them wear them while at Disney. You will save lots of money by not buying these outfits on the property.

The same goes for little boys who love to wear a Mickey Mouse hat and shirt. And when will they wear these? My advice here is to buy these prior to your trip and have the boys wear them while at Disney too. You can shop online at the Disney store for children’s outfits and find some real bargains, or look around your local stores that carry Disney merchandise. Your children really don’t care where the merchandise is purchased so save some money and buy it ahead of time.

If you feel that your children should have something from Disney World, then consider looking for books about the various characters. This is definitely much cheaper than buying expensive outfits or shirts. The neat thing about books is that your children can have them autograph by the characters in the book. Don’t forget to take pictures while the children are having the books autographed. The photos will always be a keepsake of your unforgettable Disney World vacation.
